-Quote taken from Sleazegrinder magazine-

"Bludd could no more exist without Type O Negative than I could without Zodiac Mindwarp, but strange new blood flowers bloom from even the deepest influences and the band trickle enough dark rivulets of doom, black, and 80's pop metal into the heavy goth rawk mix to start their very own vampire cult. They've also got an uncanny-some, I'm sure, would even say otherworldly, given the present company - knack for big, meaty hooks that sear themselves into the memory after only a couple of listens. Who knows what kind of damage these cats could do out in the sunshine? Ah, but they like the dark. Lyrically, Bludd's songs are a strange brew, more Dracula's tales of post-teenage angst than his legacy of brutality. Suicide anthems and S&M fantasies congeal around a streak of what might be non-denominational white metal, in the vein of early Trouble. Or they could just really be into judgment day doom and gloom, it's hard to tell. Whatever they've got on their minds, it all add up to a schizo-narcotic descent into a world gone black, and Bludd provide an almost total immersion into the basso profondo netherworld of be-fanged gothic metal. It's enough to keep you singing along, in slow motion and in your best Bela Lugosi, through the long dark night. "

As most of you know, on December 2nd 2003, mp3.com shut down. Many artists around the world counted on them for distributing new music throughout cyberspace. I recently found a new site that promotes hardcore/metal music and allows artists to instantly upload their new music with a ton of space available for mp3s, pictures, links, etc. Click the link below to enter a new era in mp3 file sharing.
